Scope
The CALD Centre Based Day Care is an Australian Government funded program that provides opportunities for isolated elderly to engage in socialisation through group activities held at Sydney MCS Day Care Centre. It also provides carers of elderly with extended respite.
The aim is to support seniors to maintain their independence and connection within their community, therefore reducing psychosocial problems such as anxiety, insecurity, depression and loneliness. Like all our services it is delivered within a cultural and linguistic appropriate context and in a manner that acknowledges the individual's uniqueness.
