Remain Active and Independent at Home Programs
We provide several group based and individual allied health services in the community to assist people over the age of 65yrs to maintain and/or improve their health, wellbeing and independence to enable our clients to continue to live in their own homes.
The programs facilitated by Catholic Healthcare Community Services are provided at a number of locations throughout the Inner West. Group sessions include:
Stepping On Falls Prevention Program (7-week program)
Gentle and Active Exercise Group Classes (ongoing during school terms)
Walking groups (ongoing weekly)
One-on-one at home exercise programs
Exercise programs
We cater for these diverse needs
Care leavers, Focus on socially and financially disadvantaged people, People who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, People who live in rural or remote areas, Specific services for ATSI people, Specific services for LGBTI people, Specific services for people with CALD backgrounds, Specific services for veterans
